Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Technical Specialist Identity and Access Management (IAM) plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving the digital systems that support the organization&aposs processes and its users. She or He will design, implement, and maintain robust IAM solutions to safeguard critical systems and information. This role is responsible for managing user authentication, authorization, access provisioning, and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IAM platforms (such as Microsoft Entra, Okta, or similar solutions), cloud services, and security frameworks, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design, Deploy, and Maintain IAM solutions

  • Design, develop, and maintain systems that meet the organization&aposs needs.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and availability of the systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, quality assurance (QA), architects, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with other developers to ensure code integration and version control.

2. Requirements Analysis

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and specifications.

3. System Administration

  • Perform system administration tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and outages.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and integration testing.
  • Identify and fix defects and bugs.

4. Identity Lifecycle Management

  • Manage user and service account provisioning, deprovisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Automate workflows for identity verification, password management, and access certifications.
  • Monitor and maintain directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD) and federated identity platforms.

5. Security and Compliance

  • Implement security best practices and measures to protect the organization&aposs systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (PDPA, GDPR).

6. Documentation

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation, system architecture, and user guides.
  • Keep documentation up to date with software changes and updates.

7. Incident management

  • Responsible for providing support for local applications and infrastructure at sites
  • Support the service desk and end users for the resolution of incidents and restoring the availability of apps and infrastructure at the site

Education/Training Qualifications:

  • Bachelor&aposs degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Identity and Access Manager CIAM, Microsoft Certified IAM) are a plus.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical role relevant to infrastructure or application, including Entra (Azure AD), Active Directory, PIM experiences in Active Directory consolidation project or PAM roll out are a plus
  • Strong understanding of directory services, authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and federation.
