About the Role
First-line technical support for our clients on-site and service calls for allocated areas.
Responsibilities
- Helping to design solar energy systems and storage systems and accessories in Sungrow/third-party design programs;
- Making technical presentations and helping to close the deals together with the account managers;
- Providing technical training and explaining technologies and technical details to clients and colleagues;
- Draw up technical documents (technical procedures, technical specifications, and technical presentations) based on the documents provided by the headquater;
- Handling and solving technical problems of new installations or existing installations;
- Handling service calls;
- Other technical-related jobs are alloted by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Proficient in at least one of English or/and Mandarin Chinese, in addition to the local language, with the ability to communicate effectively in both work and daily life.
- 5+ years of experience in technical PV support functions, and be with relevant degree/qualification and electrical engineering background;
- Experience in solar energy/battery storage, residential products or/and solutions are required.
Required Skills and Requirements
- Comfortable with main IT packages, SAP Enterprise, Outlook, MS Teams, CRM;
- Be strong in providing advice to installers and are service-oriented;
- Must be with knowledge of solar panel technologies, inverters, storage systems mounting, debugging and commissioning.
- Bachelor degree or above.
- Frequent business trips. Prior background checks are required to avoid potential factors that may affect, such as pregnancy, health issues, judicial restrictions, etc.
- Understand and accept the management style and culture of Chinese enterprises.
Preferred Skills
- Familiar with the electricity market policies in Thailand;
- Adapt to certain business travel needs;
- Candidates with a driver's license are preferred (Frequent customer and sites visit)
