Job Description

About the Role

As part of our Cloud & Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the administration, support, governance, and continual improvement of Essentra's collaboration and messaging platforms, including:

  • Microsoft Teams
  • SharePoint Online
  • OneDrive for Business
  • Exchange Online
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
  • Microsoft Purview and Compliance Services

You will act as a subject matter expert for collaboration technologies, ensuring these platforms remain secure, available, and aligned with business needs while supporting users globally.

Responsibilities:-

Microsoft 365 Collaboration Administration

  • Administer and support SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive environments.
  • Manage site collections, permissions, document libraries, storage, and governance settings.
  • Configure and maintain Teams policies, channels, guest access, and collaboration features.
  • Support SharePoint intranets, document management solutions, and collaboration workspaces.
  • Assist with platform enhancements and adoption initiatives.

Exchange Online & Messaging Support

  • Manage user, shared, and resource mailboxes.
  • Administer distribution groups, Microsoft 365 groups, mailbox permissions, and delegation.
  • Support mail flow, transport rules, connectors, and message tracing.
  • Troubleshoot email delivery, Outlook connectivity, calendar sharing, and mobile mail issues.
  • Maintain email security controls including anti-spam, anti-phishing, archiving, and retention policies.

Migrations & Continuous Improvement

  • Support migrations from legacy file shares and enterprise platforms into SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
  • Drive improvements in collaboration tools, governance, and user productivity.
  • Recommend innovative Microsoft 365 features and best practices to enhance business value.
  • Participate in global projects and digital workplace initiatives.

Governance, Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain retention policies, sensitivity labels, sharing controls, and lifecycle management.
  • Support eDiscovery, compliance requests, auditing, and information governance initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Security, Service Desk, and Audit teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and policies.

User Support & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Resolve technical incidents and service requests across collaboration and messaging platforms.
  • Create support documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Deliver end-user guidance, training, and awareness sessions to improve platform adoption.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 issues.

Qualifications

  • Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, or SharePoint certifications
  • PowerShell automation
  • Microsoft Purview
  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365
  • Entra ID / Azure AD
  • Power Apps & Power Automate
  • ITIL-based service management
  • Knowledge of email security technologies including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and hybrid messaging environments.

Educational Qualification

  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Computer Engineering

With Minimum 5 to 7 Years of work experience

Work Timings : 09:00 – 17:00 BST (British Standard Time)

Required Skills

Strong experience supporting Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online in an enterprise environment.

Good understanding of:

✔SharePoint permissions, metadata, document libraries, and search.

✔Teams administration and collaboration policies.

✔Exchange Online administration and troubleshooting.

✔Microsoft 365 governance, retention, compliance, and security controls.

Experience with:

✔User access management and permissions.

✔Collaboration platform migrations.

✔Incident and problem management.

✔Enterprise-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a global or multi-site organization.
