Job Description

Responsibilities:

Training Development and Delivery

  • Design and deliver technical training programs for ICE and EV models
  • Conduct training sessions through classroom instruction, hands-on workshops, and virtual platforms if required
  • Customize training content to meet the specific needs of service centers and dealerships.

Curriculum Management

  • Develop and update training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules to reflect advancements in ICE and EV technologies.
  • Integrate key aspects of safety, compliance, and environmental standards into training content

Technical Expertise

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in ICE and EV systems, including battery technology, electric drivetrains, and charging infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to training participants as needed.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

  • Partner with engineering, product development, and after-sales teams to gather insights on new models and technologies.
  • Work with dealership management to identify training needs and prioritize skill development areas.

Performance Assessment

  • Assess participants knowledge and skill levels through testing, certifications, and practical evaluations.
  • Gather feedback from training sessions to improve program quality and effectiveness.

Compliance and Standards

  • Ensure training programs align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Promote adherence to safety protocols, especially when handling high-voltage EV components.

Technical Support

  • Assist service centers and dealerships with complex technical issues when required.
  • Provide field support when required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • More than 6 years of experience as a technical trainer or technician in the automotive industry, with exposure to both ICE and EV systems
  • Knowledge of EV technology is preferred including engine mechanics, battery systems, electric drivetrains, and diagnostics
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for both ICE and EV models
  • Strong presentation and instructional skills
  • Hands-on technical expertise with car
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Adaptability to new technologies and training methodologies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
