About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous and technically adept Technical Translator (English ↔ Thai) to join our growing localization team. In this role, you will work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure technical documentation, customer-facing content, and business communications are translated with accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
Candidates with experience in the telecom industry — particularly within B2B and B2C commerce environments — will have an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate technical documents, product manuals, UI strings, API documentation, and business materials between English and Thai
- Localize customer-facing content including marketing materials, FAQs, help center articles, and support documentation
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to maintain terminology glossaries and localization style guides
- Ensure translated content aligns with brand voice, technical accuracy, and cultural appropriateness
- Review, edit, and proofread translations created by team members or machine translation tools
- Manage translation workflows using CAT tools and TMS platforms
- Support language requirements during client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations when needed
Required Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Thai with advanced English communication skills (C1 level or above)
- Total Experience: 8 + Years
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in technical translation or localization
- Proven ability to translate complex technical content with precision and clarity
- Familiarity with CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or Phrase (Memsource)
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage tight deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience in the telecom industry, especially in B2B or B2C commerce environments
- Exposure to telecom-related products and services such as SIM/eSIM, mobile plans, roaming, billing systems, or CPaaS platforms
- Understanding of APIs, network infrastructure, and OSS/BSS systems
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced tech startup or multinational environment
