Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and peripherals
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person assistance
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches on IT systems and equipment
  • Set up and configure workstations, user accounts, and access permissions
  • Monitor system performance and network operations to identify potential issues
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment, spare parts, and software licenses
  • Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and support tickets
  • Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure projects and system upgrades
  • Support server operations, database connectivity, and backup procedures
  • Report anomaly or non-compliance in relation to Ethics and Compliance policies of the Company
  • Report near-miss, close-call and work safety violations in relation to workplace health and safety regulations
  • Report product/production irregularity, anomaly, defectives in relation to product quality assurance

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Able to work in shift pattern to support Manufacturing.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in manufacturing or large-scale organization environment is a plus.
  • Basic command of spoken and written English.

SKILLS:

  • Windows and Linux operating system.
  • Hardware components and peripherals.
  • Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management and prioritization.
  • Service-minded.
