ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Devices Analytical Services Engineers and supervise operators in material analysis tasks using SEM/EDX, Raman, and FTIR techniques while ensuring adherence to established protocols
  • Train Devices Analytical Services operators on DAS Lab procedures, safety standards, and develop training documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and sample preparation using appropriate analytical techniques to ensure optimal instrument performance
  • Analyze and interpret analytical data, generate technical reports, and implement quality assurance procedures to maintain data integrity and laboratory standards
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Manage laboratory inventory, equipment logs, and consumable supplies while collaborating with cross-functional teams on laboratory-related initiatives

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Materials Science, or a related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in a scientific, laboratory, or analytical field (new graduates are welcome)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating analytical instrumentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance

PREFERRED:

  • Hands-on experience with SEM/EDX, FTIR, or Raman spectroscopy techniques
  • Laboratory safety certification or training
  • Experience in a supervisory or mentoring capacity
