Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and service various building systems, perform basic repairs to keep the facility in optimal working condition. Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and systems. Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs beyond scope of capability.
Primary duties include basic electrical maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, checking switches and electrical outlets. Handle plumbing and sanitation systems including fixing leaky faucets and resolving pipe blockages. Perform basic HVAC system maintenance. Maintain building surfaces through painting, wall repairs, and general upkeep. Keep building surroundings clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous building maintenance experience preferred but not essential - willing to train motivated candidates. Basic knowledge of common hand tools and maintenance equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
Must be available for shift work including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Flexibility to work rotating shifts or on-call duties for emergency maintenance situations.
Skills Desired:
Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge. Familiarity with HVAC systems. Problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills for interacting with teams.
