People Technology Manager – Implementation Team

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced People Technology Manager to lead an HR technology implementation team and play a key role in transforming how technology supports global People operations.
In this role, you will lead a team of functional specialists working across HR technology platforms such as Workday, Zendesk, Greenhouse, and related people systems. You will be responsible for implementing new Workday modules, improving existing capabilities, reducing technical debt, and driving continuous improvement across the HR technology ecosystem.
This is a highly visible role for someone who can combine strong Workday knowledge, people management, stakeholder engagement, and HR digital transformation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Workday functional implementation team across module enhancements, new implementations, and system improvements
- Develop and manage the HR technology roadmap in partnership with key stakeholders
- Assess current Workday configurations and identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, and scalability
- Support governance around application management, change requests, and implementation best practices
- Lead implementation and enhancement initiatives across Workday and related HR technology platforms
- Manage and develop a team of senior functional specialists and subject matter experts
- Define objectives, priorities, and success metrics aligned with the HR technology transformation roadmap
- Partner with People, Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders to align HR systems with business needs
- Use data and insights to support decision-making and improve employee experience
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes and reduce operational complexity
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams, preferably within a Workday environment
- Strong Workday HCM foundation
- Experience with end-to-end implementation in at least one Workday module
- Experience in HR technology, digital transformation, or people systems transformation
- Solid people management experience, including managing senior team members
- Strong understanding of the hire-to-retire employee lifecycle
- Experience with platforms such as Workday, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Greenhouse, or similar tools
- Good understanding of Agile ways of working and Scrum ceremonies
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable HR technology solutions
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with multiple dependencies and priorities
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to solve complex problems collaboratively
- Data-driven approach with the ability to use analytics and insights for decision-making
- Fluent written and spoken English
Nice to Have
- Workday techno-functional skills
- Knowledge of Workday modules such as Journeys, Recruiting, Position Management, Adaptive Planning, or AI-related capabilities
- Experience with HR service delivery tools and ticketing platforms
- Experience working in a global, fast-paced technology environment
