Role Overview

Acts as a CAT Technology Onboarding Specialist within the Construction Industry-Customer Solutions Group. This role uses technical expertise to enhance safety and productivity across our customer sites, focusing on production processes and application underpinned by cultural and operational change management.

This position supports both new and existing Construction Technologies driving customer success at the jobsite.

This role also provides recommendations to the Product Development team, influencing product evolution based on market needs, trends, and key areas for continuous improvement.

This role supports the Southern Asia region (based in Bangkok, Thailand with additional coverage in Singapore and Indonesia) and requires approximately 60% regional travel. The role is focused on driving technology adoption, improving customer utilization (including grade and payload outcomes), and increasing VisionLink usage, with a first-year target of 45% growth in adoption/utilization. This position is onsite five days per week in Bangkok and visa sponsorship is not available.

What You Will Do

▸Provide product application expertise at point of sale and through onboarding/training for customers, internal teams, and dealer partners—covering applied technology, job efficiency, and safety.

▸Conduct product performance studies and assess customer jobsite efficiency; collect product and customer requirements to create input for product improvement and new product introduction.

▸Manage marketing technology tools/systems and collaborate with stakeholders to develop a product/technology roadmap to drive business growth.

▸Support Sales teams by articulating value propositions and delivering customer-focused solutions using consultative/value selling.

▸Build strong customer relationships, gather feedback, and drive actions that improve satisfaction and sustained technology usage.

▸Supports the Southern Asia region (based in Thailand with additional coverage in Singapore & Indonesia).

▸Scope is consistent across supported locations and requires approximately 60% regional travel.

▸This role supports Caterpillar technologies (existing + new solutions) with a balanced 50:50 focus between solution design/definition and execution (onboarding, training, field adoption).

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Technology.

Experience: Previous experience with technology applied to the construction industry, including familiarity with digital tools for improving operational and production processes.

Customer: Extensive knowledge of the regions construction market and other major industries in the region

Language: Fluent in spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

▸ Strong knowledge of Caterpillar technologies, fleet management systems and application across all construction sites.

▸Experience in machine operation and production processes.

▸Experience in practical training or coaching

▸This position requires above-average commitment and willingness to travel at least 60% of the time domestic and international.
