Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery Leadership:
- Lead multiple customer-driven telecom projects, focusing on delivering solutions utilizing cloud engineering, DevOps, and embedded systems
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, scope, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered with high quality and meet client expectations
- Team Building And Management
- Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of specialists in software development, cloud solutions, and embedded systems, ensuring optimal team composition and performance
- Foster culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge in the latest telecom technologies
- Technical Expertise And Strategy
- Implement best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps to enhance infrastructure and application deployment strategies specific to telecom environments
- Guide the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies to improve project outcomes
- Work closely with technical leads to ensure architectural and operational requirements are integrated into project plans
- Client And Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and the client, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication of project progress
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and converting them into project goals and deliverables
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Risk Management And Compliance
- Proactively identify project risks and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies
- Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly those specific to telecommunications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in project management within the IT and telecom sectors, with a focus on cloud engineering, DevOps, and embedded systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams in a high-pressure environment
- Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, including but not limited to 4G/5G networks, IoT, and network security
- Proficient in agile project management tools and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as PMP, Agile Scrum Master, or ITIL
- Previous experience in a client-facing role within an IT services company
- Proven track record of successful project delivery with tangible outcomes
