Territory Manager (Ophthalmology)
Location: Bangkok - Hybrid (BKK-Esan)
Division: Pharmaceuticals
Position Purpose
Promote Bayer products to healthcare professionals and relevant target groups to meet and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
Execute Customer Engagement Excellence, focusing on promotion activities leveraging Patient Focused Interactions (PFI) to improve customer relationships.
Ensure full compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Initiate activity plans, engage Thought Leaders (TL), and manage speaker programs.
Manage sales budgets within the territory and drive tailored activities based on customer and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure sales forecasts and targets are achieved.
Partner with CE Coach and Head of Focus Brands to execute strategic customer engagement activities.
Analyze market trends, identify gaps, and propose action plans to enhance sales performance.
Plan and conduct sales visits to doctors and customers; implement promotional strategies.
Deliver presentations or education sessions for doctors, pharmacists, and medical staff.
Organize conferences, meetings, and customer engagement events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate customer data and update information as needed.
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly work plans, ensuring efficiency and team alignment.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support coordinated sales efforts.
Perform other duties assigned by superior.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Medical Science, or related field.
35 years of experience in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command of English and computer literacy.
Strong selling, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
Able to establish and deliver professional education programs focused on customer needs.
Results-oriented with strong time-management skills.
Ability to identify, prioritize, and target key customers.
Strong team player.
