Thai Proofreader

We are looking for Thai speakers to review audio files in Thai language to verify whether the spoken content matches the given text. If the audio does not align with the text, you must edit the text to accurately reflect what was actually spoken, adhering to the guidelines we have provided. There is an online interface for the proofreading and transcription process.

You will have an account of your own, and you will do everything using this interface. We have many Thai-language projects, ranging from Thai Conversation Transcription, Thai Audio Proofreading, and Thai Recording Projects. We will have auto text provided for you to edit instead of writing from scratch. You will need to pass a test before formally joining the project.

Payment is calculated based on the valid duration of all the audio clips combined. Valid duration includes the duration of all audio clips that are proofread into text.

For the Thai Conversation Transcription, we estimate that an average transcriber will take around 5-7 hours to finish transcribing 1 valid audio hour.

For the Thai Audio Proofreading Project, we estimate that an average proofreader will take around 3-4 hours to finish proofreading 1 valid audio hour.

Payment:

• For the Thai Audio Proofreading Project, base rate starts at 11 USD per valid audio hour.
• For the Thai Conversation Transcription, base rate starts at 17 USD per valid audio hour.

Base rate may be increased based on qualitative and quantitative achievements of individual transcribers and proofreaders.

Payment will be made every month based on the cycle of the projects.

Proofreaders with excellent quality may be promoted to Quality Assurance and may be considered for long-term cooperation in other audio proofreading and audio transcription projects.

Requirements:

• Excellent comprehension of written and spoken Thai
• Familiar with computer usage (a computer/laptop and speakers (wired or bluetooth) are required)
• Willingness to learn the rules of the project
• Being able to pay attention to details
• Available to work for at least 20 working hours weekly
• Previous proofreading/transcription experience is not necessary but preferred

Rate: 330.00 THB - 540.00 THB
