Key Responsibilities:
1. Contract Management & Risk Control
Review, revise and negotiate all plant legal documents, focusing on commercial contracts, procurement agreements, and supply chain transactions. Standardize legal templates, optimize contract workflows, and implement effective legal control measures to mitigate daily operational and commercial risks.
2. Labor & Employment Compliance
Oversee full-spectrum labor law compliance in accordance with Thai Labor Law. Independently handle employee disputes, work injury settlement, overtime arrangement, salary structure compliance, and internal labor regulation implementation. Liaise and communicate efficiently with the Thai Ministry of Labor and other relevant government authorities for official inquiries, inspections and filings.
3. Commercial & Data Protection Compliance
Ensure comprehensive factory compliance with Thailand PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act), DBD (Department of Business Development) regulations, customs legal supervision, import and export legal regulations, as well as cross-border factory audit and certificate of origin compliance requirements.
4. Dispute Resolution & External Legal Coordinations
Manage commercial disputes, supplier breach issues, contractual claims and debt recovery cases. Collaborate and coordinate with external local law firms, government bureaus and third-party legal counsel to defend and maximize the company's legal interests.
5. Legal System Localization & Internal Reprting
Localize and implement headquarters legal strategies and compliance frameworks to adapt to Thailand local business scenarios. Conduct regular legal training for internal departments, consolidate daily legal risk assessments, and submit standardized periodic compliance reports to China headquarters.Maintain filing records and ledgers for all legal documents, including but not limited to contracts and resolutions of shareholders/board meetings.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Law; qualified legal practitioner license is preferred. Minimum 5 years of in-house legal working experience in Thailand manufacturing or cross-border foreign enterprises.
2.Bilingual proficiency in Thai and English both in oral & written,Mandatin speaking and writing proficiency is a strong plus,capable of independent legal drafting, official negotiation and cross-cultural business communication.
3. In-depth knowledge of Thai Labor Law, commercial law, PDPA, customs legal supervision rules and overseas factory compliance management..
4. Strong independent problem-solving capability,high sensitivity to legal risks; able to work onsite in Rayong factory with excellent pressure resistance and cross-cultural coordination skills.
5. Independent, detail-oriented, able to work on-site in Mexico with strong cross-cultural adaptability.
