About the Program

The Commercial New Gen Program is a fast-track development journey designed to shape the next generation of commercial leaders at CP Axtra (Makro). This program equips fresh graduates with essential skills, data-driven thinking, and real-world experience to thrive in today's evolving retail landscape.

Through rotations, projects, and mentorship, you will learn to analyze data, solve problems effectively, and gain exposure to core commercial functions such as Buying, Global Sourcing, Key Account Management, and Commercial Strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Participate in structured rotations across commercial departments
  • Support commercial teams in analyzing business data and driving insights
  • Work on high-impact projects to accelerate omnichannel retail growth
  • Learn to think and operate as data-driven professionals with a commercial mindset
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders through structured storytelling
  • Build skills needed to progress into roles such as Buyer, Global Sourcing Key Account, or Senior Commercial Manager

Qualifications :

  • New graduates degree (0-2 years) in Food Science, Industrial Agricultural Management, Business, Supply Chain etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in retail technology and digital innovation
  • Effective communicator with a growth mindset
  • Proficiency in English or other languages is an advantage
