About the Role:
We are seeking an analytical and commercially minded Trade Analyst (Rubber Market, Chemical Fertilizer Products) to join our team. In this role, you will analyze market trends, monitor futures contracts, evaluate macroeconomic impacts, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will provide critical insights to drive commercial strategies, expand our customer base, and support seamless trade operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze domestic and international commodity markets, with a focus on the natural rubber, Chemical Fertilizer Products market, futures prices, market trends, stock levels, and key pricing indicators.
- Analyze macroeconomic factors, industry developments, and market intelligence to identify business opportunities, risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Prepare market analysis reports, forecasts, and commercial insights to support management's strategic and trading decisions.
- Develop pricing strategies and provide market recommendations to maintain business competitiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international customers, while identifying new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Negotiate commercial terms and sales contracts with customers to achieve business objectives.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and business networking activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Compliance, to ensure smooth trade execution, product delivery, and payment processes.
- Coordinate with raw material sourcing and production teams to align sales strategies with supply availability and market demand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in trade analysis, commodity market analysis, agricultural market research, agribusiness, chemical fertilizer products, or related fields.
- Knowledge of commodity markets, pricing mechanisms, futures trading, and macroeconomic factors affecting agricultural or commodity businesses. Experience in the natural rubber industry or Chemical Fertilizer Products is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and prepare reports that support business and commercial decisions.
- Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- Able to travel domestically when required. A valid driver's license is preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (5-day work week)
- Rubber Market Work Location: Sathorn, Bangkok (within walking distance of BTS Surasak)
- Chemical Fertilizer Products Work Location: Din Daeng, Bangkok (within walking distance of MRT Rama 9)
