Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Responsible for the strategic planning and execution of Ecommerce channel trade marketing plans that achieve value sales, market share and profit objectives in line with the overall business priorities.
  • Drive brand awareness and profitability through the execution of distribution, merchandising, promotion and pricing strategies and visibility at end-consumer levels
  • Support Abbott Nutrition's brand strategy by optimizing value sales, market share, spending and partnerships in collaboration with the sales team

Main Responsibilities

  • Builds strong ecommerce trade marketing strategies for Abbott Nutrition brands by defining what differentiates Abbott Nutrition brands in each segment (C&B and Diabetics) leveraging segmentation data, digital insights and healthcare trends
  • Coordinate and drive the translation of trade marketing strategy to tactics, including resource allocation with optimal management of resource mix
  • Build deep relationships with key customers (Ecommerce platforms) to understand needs and create trade marketing campaigns including brand campaigns, loyalty programs, generate branding & artwork materials that deliver on customized value propositions
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, e-commerce, and analytics by sharing knowledge cross functionally to align and coordinate sales and marketing activities to trade marketing plans.

Lead and integrated channel business plan.

  • Employ strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer and consumer experiences across multiple channels and touch points.
  • Identify trends and insights and optimizes trade spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Identify optimal ecommerce engagement activities to appeal to customers and consumers when and where they are most receptive.
  • Remain up-to-date on and incorporate new approaches to brand innovation including new business models, distribution strategies, licensing agreements and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Education Level Major/Field of Study or Equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experienced in trade marketing management, FMCG
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis and confidence in handling large datasets
  • Comfort with complexity, critical thinking and problem-solving (mental agility)
  • Strong forecasting skills
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners to optimize execution of ecommerce campaigns
