Our client is a leading Thai agribusiness and foodingredient producer operating at large industrial scale, products to both domestic and international markets. They're now looking for a Trade Marketing who will oversee multichannel trade planning, manage promotion strategy, lead a trade marketing team, and drive channel activation, budget management, and datadriven insights to support commercial growth
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the annual/quarterly/monthly Trade Marketing Calendar across GT, MT, Foodservice, and Online channels, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales plans.
- Define promotion strategies and mechanics suitable for each channel (e.g., discounts, displays, bundles, premiums, consumer promotions, trade promotions).
- Lead and manage the Trade Marketing team (Supervisor / Assistant / Coordinator) to ensure effective design, execution, and tracking of activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Key Account, and Area Managers to develop Joint Business Plans, instore activations, and category management strategies with key customers.
- Oversee the design, production, and distribution of POSM and shelf structures aligned with brand guidelines and channel requirements.
- Analyze Sell-in/Sell-out data, distribution, Share of Shelf, and competitor insights to inform trade marketing strategies and propose improvements.
- Manage Trade Marketing and Trade Spend budgets to ensure efficient allocation and measurable ROI.
- Evaluate all campaign activities, summarize insights, and recommend improvement actions for future plans.
- Support new product launches across channels, including placement plans, promotional activities, and sales tools.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure seamless trade marketing execution aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Marketing, or Category Management within FMCG.
- Team management experience; experience with national or regional responsibilities is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Thailand's sales channel structure: General Trade, Modern Trade, Distributor Management, and Route to Market.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for working with senior management and key customers.
- Strong project and budget management skills; able to prioritize and work under pressure.
- Ability to travel upcountry or outside assigned areas.
