Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a
motivated and experienced Transportation Team Leader to join our
Transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for
assisting the Transportation Manager in managing the Courier Team, ensuring the secure transfer of client information, and upholding safety and efficiency standards .
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
- Team Leadership: Assist the Transportation Manager to manage the Courier Team and provide challenging assignments to develop direct reports.
- Operational Excellence: Manage and deliver on SOPs, Perfect Order, Zero Incident, Security Policy, 5S, and Lean initiatives.
- Security & Accuracy: Ensure all client items are accurately scanned according to SOPs and that client information is securely managed during transfer.
- Safety & Fleet Management: Ensure couriers drive safely and all vehicles comply with Global Standard Policies.
- Culture & Improvement: Foster a positive team climate and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and service areas.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: 3 years of working experience with a solid background in Courier and Transportation.
- Communication: Good English communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Compliance Awareness: Understanding of Data Privacy, HIPAA, and Information Security standards.
- Safety Leadership: Ability to act as a Safety Officer at the supervisory level.
