Treasury Manager (Fintech)
About the Role
We are looking for a Treasury Manager to oversee treasury and fund management activities for our Thailand payment business. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient liquidity management, regulatory compliance, and strong banking partnerships while supporting the growth of digital payment products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily treasury activities, including cash positioning, liquidity planning, and fund allocation.
- Oversee customer fund safeguarding processes and ensure compliance with Bank of Thailand regulations.
- Maintain and optimize banking structures, payment accounts, and cash management arrangements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local financial institutions and banking partners.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Product teams to ensure treasury operations align with regulatory and business requirements.
- Develop, review, and enhance treasury policies, operating procedures, and internal control processes.
- Support payment products such as digital wallets, merchant acquiring, e-commerce payments, lending, and other financial services.
- Monitor fund settlement, clearing activities, and cash reconciliation to ensure operational accuracy.
- Prepare treasury reports, liquidity analysis, and management information for business decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, automation, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Payment Operations, or Fund Management.
- Experience within fintech, payment service providers, digital banking, financial institutions, or other regulated financial environments.
- Good understanding of payment flows, settlement processes, safeguarding requirements, and treasury controls.
- Familiarity with banking products, liquidity management, and financial regulations in Thailand.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Professional communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of treasury systems, ERP platforms, or payment technologies.
- CPA or other professional finance certifications would be an advantage.
- Experience in Fund Safeguarding, E-Payment, Payment Settlement, or Merchant Acquiring.
- Knowledge of Bank of Thailand (BOT) regulations and compliance is highly preferred.
- Background in FinTech, Payment Service Providers, Digital Banking, or Financial Institutions will be a strong advantage.
