Wood is currently recruiting for a Turnover Engineer to join our team for a major EPCM refinery project in Si Racha, Chonburi, Thailand. RESPONSIBILITIES
What makes you remarkable
Reporting to the
Turnover Lead / Completions Manager, your immediate focus will be coordinating turnover and completion activities on a major EPCM refinery project, ensuring the effective management of subsystem completions, handover dossiers, quality records, test packages, and turnover documentation.

You will thrive in a site-based environment where your ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines, manage turnover systems, and drive completion progress will contribute to successful project delivery.
In Addition, You Will:
- Supervise and provide guidance to Turnover Clerks, ensuring turnover documentation and records are maintained accurately and efficiently
- Manage the population, operation, maintenance, and integrity of the turnover database and associated completion management systems
- Define construction turnover deliverables in terms of quality control packages relating to P&ID and non-P&ID subsystems
- Define inspection and test documentation requirements by discipline activity and coordinate inspections and acceptance activities with the Client, Commissioning Team, and project stakeholders
- Coordinate the completion of discipline inspection activities and supporting documentation, ensuring timely release of completed work to subsequent disciplines
- Progressively transfer responsibility for completed works to the startup and commissioning organization, ensuring subsystem turnover is fully accepted and documented
- Compile, monitor, and manage subsystem exception item lists, ensuring agreed actions are completed within established schedules
- Consolidate construction punch lists into subsystem punch lists and maintain a robust auditable process to ensure all punch items are tracked, resolved, and formally closed
- Maintain original master punch list records and turnover documentation in accordance with project and client requirements
- Facilitate and participate in subsystem walkdowns with client representatives, construction teams, and commissioning personnel
- Monitor subsystem completion status and align turnover priorities with commissioning and startup sequences
- Prepare and issue subsystem progress reports, discipline status updates, turnover metrics, and punch list reports as required
- Advise Construction Management and Field Supervision teams regarding the impact and criticality of outstanding punch items on subsystem completion schedules
- Coordinate and compile Mechanical Completion, Ready for Start-Up (RFSU), and turnover dossiers for subsystem handover
- Manage contractor submission, review, and compilation of discipline quality control packages, inspection records, and turnover documentation
- Coordinate closely with the Commissioning Team to ensure subsystem readiness aligns with startup priorities and project milestones

Expected
This opportunity is available to Thai Nationals only. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Thailand.
Suitably qualified with a bachelor's degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline, you will ideally have experience in a Turnover Engineer, Completions Engineer, Handover Engineer, or similar role on major EPCM, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Power projects, supported by a minimum of 8 years of relevant turnover and completion experience.
In Addition, You Will:
- Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in turnover, completions, handover, commissioning support, or project closeout activities
- Possess previous experience utilizing Co-Console, completions management systems, turnover databases, or similar completion management software
- Have extensive Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or industrial construction experience with a proven track record managing turnover and handover activities
- Demonstrate strong coordination capabilities across construction, quality, engineering, commissioning, and client teams to drive completion of test packages and subsystem packages
- Have experience managing quality control packages, inspection and test records, turnover dossiers, mechanical completion dossiers, and readiness-for-startup documentation
- Possess a strong understanding of subsystem completion processes, punch list management, commissioning interfaces, and project turnover requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to identify issues, gather and assess information from multiple sources, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions
- Have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and reporting requirements in a fast-paced project environment
- Possess excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills
- Have good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Be capable of working effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and collaborating with contractors, clients, and commissioning personnel
- Be willing to work extended hours, including weekends, when required to meet project milestones
