Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced UAT Test Lead to establish and lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) function for a new digital bank. This role is responsible for ensuring business readiness and end-to-end validation of banking systems before go-live.
The Test Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, operations, technology teams, and vendors to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements, regulatory expectations, and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage end-to-end UAT cycles across multiple workstreams
- Ensure test coverage across customer journeys, products and operational processes
- Lead and coach UAT analysts and business testers in writing effective test cases, executing UAT and logging quality defects
- Engage business stakeholders and drive active participation in UAT
- Oversee defect management and prioritization based on business risk
- Coordinate environment and test data readiness with IT teams
- Provide UAT input into overall go-live readiness assessment
- Deliver clear testing dashboards and status reporting to management
- Identify testing risks and escalate early with mitigation plans
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years in software testing / QA, with test leadership experience
- Solid understanding of requirements traceability, test coverage and defect lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder management across business, IT, and vendors
- Experience in banking or financial services is preferred
- (core banking, payments, lending, digital channels, AML, etc.)
- Ability to management multiple streams and tight delivery timelines
- Experience in large transformation and multinational environment is preferred
