In this role, you won't just be pushing pixels, you'll be owning flows from breadboarding to developer handoff. You'll turn early-stage product ideas and user stories into intuitive, scalable, Figma-driven design systems, complete with clean components, thoughtful interactions, and precise annotations that developers actually love. You'll work hand-in-hand with the CEO, product team, developers and testers to make sure every feature shipped looks sharp, works smoothly, and solves the right problem.

Responsibilities
- Conduct research to understand the needs, goals, and pain points of the users, and then use that information to design interfaces and workflows that that meet their needs.
- Work with Product & Customer Success teams to identify design requirements and user stories for new features & enhancements.
- Create user interfaces that are visually appealing, easy to use, and consistent with the company's brand and design guidelines.
- Work with engineering teams to clarify design queries and make relevant adjustments to ensure smooth development and on-time sprint releases.
- Work with customer success teams to ensure that your designs meets the intended outcome by delivering true and measurable value to the end users.
- Keep the design system updated with the latest changes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and use that knowledge to improve the company's products and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years work experience in a software company (preferably B2B SAAS) as a UI/UX designer or similar role.
- User Research: Solid understanding of user research methods and be able to conduct research to gather insights into user needs and preferences.
- Design Skills: Highly skilled with design tools such as Figma to create wireframes that effectively communicate product concepts, user flows, and interactions to the development team.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including product owners, developers, testers, sales and support reps.
- User-Centric Mindset: Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and the ability to empathize with users to ensure that the product meets their needs and expectations.
- Problem Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address problems, obstacles, and challenges, and develop practical solutions to overcome them.
- Continuous Learning: Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends, customer needs, and product management best practices to enhance product expertise and contribute to the overall success of the product and the company.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines effectively, prioritize workload based on business value and customer needs, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to take ownership of design initiatives, work independently, and with cross-functional teams to achieve product goals and deliverables while maintaining good relationships.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and experience in participating in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
