Required Skills
- Linux/Unix administration across RHEL 6/7/8/9, CentOS, Ubuntu, OEL, and IBM AIX.
- Storage & filesystems: LVM, XFS, EXT3/EXT4, JFS.
- Package management: YUM, DNF, RPM, APT.
- Shell scripting (Bash / Korn Shell).
- Performance & diagnostics: top, vmstat, iostat, sar, ps, netstat, ss, lsof.
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, NTP.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and log analysis.
Qualifications skills
- 5–10 years of hands-on Unix/Linux administration experience.
- Minimum 3+ years in an L2 Production Support role.
- Experience supporting enterprise environments with 500+ servers.
- Experience in 24x7 enterprise support environments.
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management
- Ready to work in Rotational shifts.
Good to have skills
- VMware and cloud exposure (Azure / AWS / OCI preferred).
- IBM AIX administration.
- RHCSA / RHCE certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- IBM AIX Administration certification.
