Title - User Researcher (Game-Centric, Thai Language)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research with a focus on game-centric player experiences.
- Lead and facilitate player interviews in Thai language, ensuring cultural nuances and player feedback are accurately captured and interpreted.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, product managers, and developers to integrate user insights into game design and feature development.
- Develop research plans, create discussion guides, and synthesize findings into clear, actionable reports and presentations.
- Analyze player behavior data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for game improvement.
- Advocate for the player perspective throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring user needs and motivations are prioritized.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging research methodologies, and best practices within the gaming sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Game Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a User Researcher, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Fluency in Thai language (spoken and written) with strong cultural understanding.
- Proven experience conducting player interviews and other user research methods such as usability testing, surveys, and ethnographic studies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate research findings into strategic recommendations.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Tools and Technologies:
- Proficiency in research and data analysis tools such as UserTesting, Lookback, Dovetail, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with survey tools like Qualtrics or Google Forms.
- Competence in data visualization software such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of game analytics platforms (e.g., Unity Analytics, GameAnalytics) is a plus.
- Strong skills in documentation and presentation tools like Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
