Responsible for defining, developing, implementing, and managing the process (be it dev ops or stage gate) for the implementation of transportation and/or process based continuous improvement (CI) projects from opportunity identification through delivery/stabilization.
Routinely perform network analysis and right sizing of solutions including use of fleet & common carriers, backhaul opportunities & empty mile reduction, use of spot market, and other solutions such as pool points, freight trapping, sailing schedules, etc.
Develops, maintains, and executes a CI roadmap either for a larger scale MT customer or multiple smaller scale MT customers
Work closely with vendors to extract data and actionable intelligence to continuously improve on emerging technology
Provide regular (monthly) CI project progress updates and related improvement activity with CI Team leads, Ops leads, and customers as needed
Measure performance against a standard program savings tool and ensure operations is following through on identified optimization solutions. Identify barriers and solutions to address them.
Insure all standard quality practices are deployed regarding DHL BASICS and Operational Management System
Requirements
At least 10 years of working experience in freight forwarding management is a mandatory
Background in Automotive/Heavy Machine Manufacturing industry is significant advantage
Understanding of international freight transport management, costing model management & commercialization of the project proposal
Effective interpersonal skills, outstanding product knowledge & good presentation skills
Pro-active, strong leadership and organizational skills
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
Good communication in Thai & English, both writing and speaking skills
