Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Venture Integration & Business Development Associate to join Banpu's Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) team. This role bridges the gap between Banpu's strategic business units and the startup ecosystem, turning investments into measurable business impact. You will lead efforts to integrate portfolio technologies and solutions into Banpu's core and emerging businesses, drive venture collaboration pilots, and contribute to building new venture opportunities that support Banpu's Energy Symphonics transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Venture Integration: Translate CVC investments into operational value by identifying integration pathways between startups and Banpu's business units across energy, digital, and sustainability domains.
- Pilot & Partnership Execution: Drive execution of proof-of-concepts (POCs), pilots, and joint commercial initiatives, ensuring strategic and financial objectives are achieved.
- Synergy & Value Creation: Work closely with the investment team to assess the post-investment strategic fit, scalability, and commercialization roadmap of technology startup companies.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central interface between startups and Banpu's internal functions (Operations, Digital, Strategy, Sustainability, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation and alignment.
- Venture Building Support: Participate in identifying new venture incubation or spinout opportunities leveraging Banpu's assets, data, and industry insights.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document integration learnings, frameworks, and case studies to build institutional knowledge and scalability for future initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 24 years of experience in corporate venture capital, consulting, business development, or innovation roles, ideally with exposure to startup collaboration or technology commercialization.
- Strong understanding of corporate innovation, venture integration, or venture building processes.
- Excellent project management, cross-functional communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Passionate about emerging technologies, new business models, and energy transition opportunities.
- Fluent in Thai and English, with strong business communication and presentation skills.
