An international corporate and investment bank is seeking an experienced Client Onboarding Team Manager to lead its regional onboarding function.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a regional team of KYC onboarding professionals.
- Manage workflow allocation, capacity, productivity, turnaround time and service quality.
- Oversee end-to-end CDD and KYC onboarding for corporate and institutional clients.
- Act as the escalation point for complex cases involving PEPs, adverse media, sanctions and ownership structures.
- Partner with Front Office, Compliance and global teams to resolve onboarding issues.
- Prepare management reporting on team performance, risks and operational matters.
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements and UAT initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant KYC/AML experience within financial services.
- Strong corporate or institutional client onboarding experience.
- Proven experience managing and developing KYC teams, including remote or offshore resources.
- Strong stakeholder, project and operational-management capabilities.
- Experience with workflow analytics, Tableau or Alteryx would be advantageous.
