Vice President – Corporate Banking
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vice President – Corporate Banking to lead business development initiatives, manage strategic corporate relationships, and deliver high-quality credit solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving portfolio growth while maintaining sound credit quality and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies to expand the Corporate Banking portfolio.
- Acquire new corporate clients and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Identify business opportunities and provide appropriate banking solutions to meet clients financial needs.
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, including financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, industry analysis, and risk evaluation.
- Structure credit facilities and prepare credit proposals for approval.
- Monitor portfolio quality and ensure compliance with the Bank's credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management framework.
- Collaborate with Credit Risk, Legal, Operations, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient credit processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts to achieve business and portfolio objectives.
- Drive team performance through effective leadership, performance management, and talent development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in Corporate Business, Commercial Business or SME Business within the banking industry.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate lending, financial statement analysis and risk assessment.
- Proven track record in originating new business, managing corporate client relationships, and driving sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining sound credit quality.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
