Vice President - Overseas Renewable Energy & Business Strategy

Job Purpose

Identify international energy investment opportunities and develop management systems, strategies, and business plans for the power business. Oversee governance, performance improvement, cost management, and crossfunctional coordinationboth internal and external, including governmental and private entitiesto ensure operational excellence and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Identify overseas energy investment opportunities aligned with the Energy Group's direction and corporate strategy, including electricity, renewable energy, hydropower, solar energy, hydrogen, and other related sectors.
• Develop business strategies, business plans, and operational policies; prepare and present strategic proposals and project plans to senior management.
• Prepare investment information and analyses for both domestic and international projects.
• Manage projects including cost analysis, budget control, and monitoring project execution to ensure alignment with approved plans.
• Design strategies, workflows, and business processes; support the establishment of new business units or companies as required by the business plan.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and evaluate investment suitability, including potential domestic investments and joint ventures; prepare related reports for decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as engineering, legal, accounting, and finance to prepare investment reports and supporting documents.
• Analyze energy-related business projects as assigned and provide initial recommendations to executives for investment decisions.
• Develop investment plans in the energy sector and oversee asset management to maximize value for the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical, project, or engineering roles within the power industry.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in management-level positions.

This position is a 2year fixed-term contract. The company may or may not consider extending your contract or converting the role to a permanent position.
