Role Summary:
- Purpose: Translate brand & commercial intent into highimpact visual execution across all channels to drive sellthrough, conversion, and brand consistencyon time and on budget.
- Accountability: VM strategy & calendar, seasonal campaign rollouts, windows/installs, guidelines, fixture planning, vendor management, training & audits, ecommerce visual standards, and leading a 3person VM team.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Education :
Bachelor's in visual merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior/Spatial Design, or related. (Advanced diploma/portfolio can substitute for degree if exceptional.)
Work Experiences:
- 610 years in fashion/Retail VM, 24 years leading VM specialists or a multistore VM function.
- Proven ownership of brandwide seasonal rollouts across 20 stores or multimarket (shop-in-shops, boutiques, outlets).
- Demonstrated partnership with Buying/Merch, Retail Ops, and Marketing.
Technical Skills
- Space planning: SketchUp or AutoCAD (or similar), planograms, scale drawing.
- Design & comms: Adobe CC (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop), PPT/Keynote.
- Data basics: Excel/Sheets for store grading, pack lists, critical path, ROI tracking.
Leadership & Ways of Working
- Experience managing & coaching a team (goal setting, 1:1s, feedback, skills development).
- Project management: critical path ownership, vendor tendering, budget control.
- Comfortable with late/night installs and travel for regional rollouts.
- Language: Strong English communication and writting

- Commercial VM thinking: Can link floor layout, sightlines, and density to conversion and sellthrough; sets and measures VM hypotheses (e.g., fronttable hero + crosscategory bundle).
- Strategic planning: Builds a 12month VM calendar aligned to buy drops, campaigns, markdown cadence, events, and installs capacity.
- Concept to execution: Briefs concepts, prototypes with vendors, pilots in test stores, iterates, and scales with toolkits & training.
- People leadership: Sets standards, delegates effectively, motivates a 3person VM team, and upskills store teams for day2 maintenance.
- Operational excellence: Rocksolid critical path and store packs; gets 100% stores live on the same day with minimal snags.
- Crossfunctional influence: Earns trust with Merch/Buying, Retail Ops, and Marketing; manages tradeoffs fast.
