Job Description

• Leads and manages Finance Operations team
• Oversees the payment and receipt functions
• Reviews clients and brokers reconciliation
• Reviews Investment security tagging, update of last done price and investment reports
• Reviews daily entries for posting in accounting system
• Reviews payment, receipt, miscellaneous, and trade debtor reconciliation
• Reviews AML transactions
• Liaises with internal and external auditors
• Lead process improvements and drive efficiency within the team.
• Provide guidance and support to the Finance team
• Support ongoing transformation projects or new product launches

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or related
• At least 8-10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance with good understanding of business processes in Finance operations
• Prior experience in finance automation and digitalisation initiatives
• Good communication and ability to work collaboratively across different stakeholders groups and deliver timely results in a dynamic working environment
• Experience managing and leading a team
• A good understanding of end-to-end Finance Operations function in a securities broking industry is preferred
• Has a positive attitude, meticulous and a fast learner
