About the Opportunity
We are looking to connect with seasoned IT professionals at the Director level who possess deep expertise in the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will eventually lead IT strategies across a team of subsidiaries, optimizing the organization's business strategies and ensuring seamless integration of technology with industrial operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and assistance to company subsidiaries on their IT and operational technology activities.
- Oversee the technological infrastructure for the development of process equipment and plant facilities.
- Responsible for IT cost analysis and driving initiatives to reduce overall operational costs.
- Identify and analyze potential technology projects and monitor industry trends.
- Participate in project meetings and support the resolution of contract execution and technical issues.
- Lead sourcing requests from subsidiaries, as well as handle contract interactions with local IT vendors and contractors.
- Support subsidiaries on their project follow-ups to ensure successful implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (a Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related technical/IT field is highly preferred).
- Extensive leadership experience at the Director level within the IT domain, specifically focused on the manufacturing sector (Outside Information).
- Good technical background to allow the understanding of equipment specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Broad knowledge of the industrial sector.
- Strong business acumen (ability to apply concepts and practices across all situations).
- Good Analytical Skills (effectively supports decisions based on factual data and analysis).
- Information management and presentation skills.
- Exceptional teamwork and leadership skills (guides and influences others toward the accomplishment of a goal).
- Good communication skills in English.
