Main Purpose:
Oversee distribution compensation (DAP), campaign management and business case analysis. Promote business partnering between finance and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Distribution Compensation
- Oversee the annual distribution compensation frameworks (DAP) for distribution, Agency, Banca and Other Channels
- Collaborate with Distribution and Strategic team to formulate compensation framework in line with company's growth targets
- Ensure adequate financial foundation of distribution compensation.
Campaign Management
- Oversee review of all campaigns covering distribution, customer, products and marketing.
- Collaborate with business units
- Provide financial review and summarize for management as required.
- Ensure that the campaigns adhere to internal governance.
- Resonsible for the governance of Campaign Committee
Business Case Analysis
- Oversee review of business proposals as required to support new business acquisition with partners and brokers such as Telesales, Titus, etc.
- Oversee review of initiatives tabled at growth steering committee
- Key Point of contact in Finance & Strategy team for new business cases.
Business Partnering
- Promote a strong Business Partnering culture between business units & Finance
- Build strong relation with the business units
- Financial oversight for the distribution channels to preserve and enhance shareholder value (e.g. NBV management)
- Be challenger and controller, but also a respected and trusted partner for the business units
Team Management
- Supervise, delegate, coordinate and review the work in the team.
- Develop team knowledge and capabilities for succession.
