VP, Trade & Working Capital Solutions (Singapore)

Senior origination and execution role within a global bank's Trade Finance division, covering APAC including India. You'll drive growth in structured and conventional trade finance, lead complex deal execution, and act as the key product/credit partner to coverage teams - while supporting the broader flow banking agenda (deposits, FX, balance sheet optimization).

What you'll do

• Originate, structure, and execute Structured Trade Finance (STF) and working capital deals for Commodities, Energy, and Infrastructure clients across APAC/India
• Partner with Relationship Managers and sector teams to design tailored trade solutions
• Grow trade flows across receivables, payables, inventory finance, and conventional products, with a focus on producers and smelters
• Own deal structuring end-to-end - financial analysis, risk assessment, documentation and drive credit approvals with Credit, Legal, Compliance, and Ops
• Manage execution from origination to close, ensuring deals meet risk appetite and regulatory standards
• Act as primary contact for key regional/global clients; represent the division as a subject-matter expert
• Combine STF, conventional trade, deposits, and FX into integrated solutions that optimize capital returns

What you'll bring

• 8-12 years in trade finance, structured trade, or working capital, ideally in Commodities, Energy, or Infrastructure
• Hands-on STF and conventional trade finance experience
• Strong grasp of credit analysis and approvals
• Proven multi-stakeholder management across functions/regions
• Sharp analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Self-starter with strong team collaboration instincts
• Flow banking mindset - able to cross-sell deposits and FX alongside trade
