Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all operational aspects of fulfillment, controlling, and managing inventory and logistics.
  • To manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Tracking inventory levels to prevent stockouts and/or deadstock.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity.
  • Provide training to new and existing staff on warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coaching and managing the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and achieve short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Report and investigate any incidents, accidents, or near-miss events.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to address discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the inventory control team to manage stock levels and reduce shrinkage.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and merchandising teams to facilitate smooth inventory replenishment.
  • Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency and manages operational goals.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that we meet standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost-saving initiatives within the warehouse.
  • Implement improvements to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics and Supply Chain Management/ Engineer or a related field.
  • Experience in Logistics Warehouse/Inventory/Distribution for at least 5 years. (Experience in order fulfillment business in will be an advantage.)
  • Proven track record of analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems
  • Detail-oriented
  • Multitasking capabilities
  • Good logical and communication skills
  • Excellent in problem solving and decision making
  • Excellent in time management
  • Be able to work 6 days/week (Alternate Saturdays off)
