Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management:

Direct and coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics and warehouse activities, from receipt to dispatch.

  • Inventory Control:

Manage perpetual stock control, conduct perpetual inventory checks, and ensure accurate stock levels and capacity planning.

  • Team Leadership:

Organize, manage, and motivate warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring they are trained and productive.

  • Health & Safety:

Establish and enforce health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Equipment & Facilities:

Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, machinery, and vehicles, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment.

  • Logistics & Shipping:

Plan and manage transportation routes, monitor delivery times, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

  • Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and achieve targets.

  • Technology & Systems:

Utilize and manage warehouse management systems, barcode scanners, and other automation tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Cost Management:

Identify and implement new methods to reduce operational costs and improve overall efficiency.

  • Reporting:

Prepare and review reports on operational results, KPIs, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor&aposs degree of Logistics or other related matters.
  • Communication: Good command in English.
  • Experience: Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, and managing staff is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve operational issues and handle complaints.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to develop innovative ideas for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills for liaising with internal departments, suppliers, and staff.
