Lead and oversee automated (ASRS) warehouse operations, ensuring seamless dispatches that meet customer requirements and optimize finished goods (FG) inventory levels.
Develop and implement strategic plans for packaging operations, ensuring adherence to high standards of safety, productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Strive for and achieve zero defects in packaging operations through the implementation of robust quality control measures.
Implement and manage Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) measurement systems to drive continuous improvement in machine and workforce productivity.
Maintain the automated warehouse infrastructure, coordinating with IT and engineering teams for effective troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Manage the safe and timely commissioning of new facilities and equipment, including the PEB Building for packaging and warehouse areas, FG Storage Silos, Automated Packaging Machines, and product transport conveyors. This involves close collaboration with vendors (silo, packaging machines), construction contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Oversee the safe and timely commissioning of the ASRS (Automatic Storage and Retrieval System), DCS, and SAP integration, working closely with ASRS vendors, construction contractors, and engineering/project teams.
Establish and enforce comprehensive safety procedures and protocols across all packaging and warehouse operations, aiming for a zero-reportable incident record.
Implement robust controls to maintain high inventory accuracy, reconciling physical counts with system records (book vs. physical).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science or Business Administration.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations. Experience in packaging operations is a significant advantage.
Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
In-depth knowledge of packaging standards and statutory requirements.
Solid understanding and practical experience with packaging operations.
