Job Summary
BDC is looking for an experienced Water Station Manager to be based in our Chonburi Data Centre. This role is under the Critical Operations team and will lead the operation and maintenance of water supply and water treatment systems for data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role supervises the operations team, manages preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, and serves as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders, and all other related activities to ensure smooth and efficient data center operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the operation and maintenance of water supply and water treatment systems supporting data center facilities, and all other activities related to water treatment plant or water station.
- Ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and compliance with water quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate operation and maintenance team to maintain smooth, safe, and efficient plant operations.
- Oversee process design implementation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting protocols to minimize downtime and address operational issues promptly.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients, providing technical support, coordinating requirements, and responding to emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of system performance, inspections, maintenance activities, and operational logs to support regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure safe and stable operation of all water treatment equipment, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and technical excellence within the data center environment.
- Ensure the team manages incidents, issues, and change-related risks in compliance with company management policies and procedures.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related fields.
- More than 3 years of relevant experience in Facility Operation & Maintenance, RO Water system and Waste water treatment system
- Proficient in the main processes of municipal water supply and wastewater treatment, with substantial experience in the design of facilities such as water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and pump stations
