Job Summary

The WB Branch Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail and SME customers within a UOB branch. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying financial needs, and cross-selling suitable banking products and services to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively acquire new customers and expand existing relationships through effective sales and networking activities within the assigned branch's vicinity.
  • Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis for individual and SME clients, recommending appropriate banking products including deposits, loans, investments, insurance, and other wealth management solutions.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall branch's performance metrics for various product categories.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive banking experience for all clients.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of UOB's product offerings, policies, and procedures, as well as prevailing market trends and competitor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal bank policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all customer interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with other branch colleagues and support departments to facilitate seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
  • Participate in branch-level marketing initiatives, campaigns, and community engagement activities to enhance UOB's brand presence.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to branch management.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales or relationship management role within the banking or financial services industry, with at least 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking products, wealth management solutions, and SME financial needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse client segments.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in Thai and good command of English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Relevant financial certifications or licenses (e.g., investment advisor, insurance agent) will be an advantage.
