Job Description
Job Summary**
The WB Relationship Manager at UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of wholesale banking clients, fostering strong relationships, and providing comprehensive financial solutions to meet their evolving needs.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of clients businesses, financial requirements, and industry trends within the wholesale banking segment.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling UOB's full suite of products and services such as corporate finance, trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions.
- Prepare and present tailored financial proposals to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business objectives and UOB's value proposition.
- Manage the end-to-end credit process, including financial analysis, credit proposal submission, negotiation of terms, and ongoing monitoring of credit facilities.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of client transactions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on market conditions, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform client strategies and product development.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, credit risk, and legal teams, to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Adhere to all UOB's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wholesale banking relationship management, corporate banking, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, trade finance, cash management, and treasury products.
- Excellent financial analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Thai and English.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at various levels.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
