THE ROLE: WEBSITE QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

We are recruiting a diligent and detail oriented Website Quality Assurance Analyst to be part of the digital team at QUO Bangkok, the leading agency for the travel and hospitality industries.

This role involves working on various International Websites and Applications, focusing on providing comprehensive quality assurance services through design, structure, function, and performance testing.

Beyond technical validation, this position is critical in ensuring successful Project Handover through meticulous content management and proactive customer CMS adoption support.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Quality Assurance Planning & Execution

  • Conduct functional testing aligned with company project and business requirements.
  • Perform structure testing of wireframes and designs against original technical specifications.
  • Execute technical speed and optimization testing to ensure high performance and effective user experience.

Qualitative User Experience (UX) Testing

  • Perform qualitative user and internal testing of designs against requirements and brand specifications, with a strong focus on user experience aesthetics.
  • Identify both qualitative (e.g., design flow, ease of use) and quantitative (e.g., load time, responsiveness) issues in the UX.
  • Identify user issues and improvements to the CMS administration process and procedures.

Fault Management & Collaboration

  • Report, track, and manage all bugs and issues with the development team.
  • Work closely with development and design teams to facilitate the timely resolution of faults and implement effective quality controls.

Content Deployment & Documentation

  • Update and deploy content on websites and applications as needed.
  • Develop bespoke, easy-to-follow WordPress User Manuals tailored to each project's specific custom-build features.
  • Translate technical jargon into layman's terms to ensure hospitality staff (from marketing managers to front-desk editors) can manage their site with confidence.
  • Maintain a library of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring CMS tasks.
  • Lead one-on-one or group CMS Training Sessions (via Zoom or in-person) for international clients, demonstrating how to update content, manage media, and maintain SEO metadata.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for CMS-related queries during the post-launch support phase.

User Experience (UX) Advocacy

  • Provide feedback to the development team not just on what is broken, but on what might be confusing for a non-technical client using the WordPress dashboard.

Learning & development

  • Stay at the leading edge of emerging trends and technologies around quantitative and qualitative web application testing
  • Propose, configure and deploy tools to accelerate QA scope and accuracy

WordPress Proficiency

  • Deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, including experience with Gutenberg, Elementor, or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).

Communication Skills

  • Exceptional ability to explain technical processes clearly and patiently in English to non-technical users.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Website/Software Quality Assurance, QA Engineering, or a relevant technical role, preferably in a creative agency setting focusing on digital products.
  • English level - Fluent / business
