About the Role

KAIA is creating a next-generation wellness destination that reimagines the relationship between wellbeing, hospitality, nature, and human connection.

We are looking for an experienced Wellness Manager who combines strong operational leadership with luxury hospitality expertise and a deep understanding of contemporary wellness culture. Passionate about recovery, movement, mindfulness, and human connection, you will shape experiences that reflect the evolving wellness landscape and resonate with today's discerning travellers. Working beyond traditional spa and wellness models, you will create distinctive, connection-driven experiences that foster community, shared rituals, and a sense of belonging, while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of KAIA's wellness strategy, programming, and guest experience framework.
  • Design and manage wellness offerings including hydrotherapy experiences, mindfulness practices, movement sessions, retreats, workshops, and seasonal activations.
  • Create innovative wellness experiences that foster meaningful guest connections, shared rituals, community engagement, and social wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with Culinary and Farm teams to integrate Food & Beverage-led wellness, mindful dining, hydration rituals, herbal infusions, and farm-to-table wellbeing experiences.
  • Establish wellness operating standards, SOPs, safety protocols, guest consultation processes, and service guidelines.
  • Oversee daily wellness operations, guest experience delivery, facilitator scheduling, and wellness space readiness.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop wellness hosts, facilitators, and external practitioners to ensure exceptional guest care and service standards.
  • Monitor wellness performance, guest feedback, participation trends, revenue, and operational effectiveness while continuously enhancing the guest experience.
  • Ensure all wellness experiences align with KAIA's philosophy, luxury hospitality standards, sustainability commitments, and brand positioning.
  • Stay informed on emerging wellness trends, including social wellness, communal recovery, longevity, mindfulness, movement, and experiential hospitality.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Wellness Management, Hospitality Management, Recreation Management, Health Promotion, Holistic Wellbeing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in wellness, hospitality, guest experience, retreats, recreation, or wellbeing-related operations.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience designing and managing wellness programmes, retreats, workshops, guest experiences, or lifestyle-led programming.
  • Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards, guest journey design, and experience curation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within luxury wellness resorts, wellness retreats, boutique hospitality, lifestyle clubs, or premium guest experience environments.
  • Pre-opening experience within hospitality, wellness, or lifestyle-driven businesses.
  • Exposure to hydrotherapy, recovery concepts, mindfulness, movement, longevity, or holistic wellbeing programmes.
  • Experience creating community-driven experiences, social wellness programming, or connection-focused guest activities.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary wellness culture and emerging trends in recovery, longevity, mindfulness, movement, and experiential hospitality.
  • Certifications in mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, hydrotherapy, wellness coaching, yoga, movement practices, or related disciplines would be advantageous.
