Responsibilities & Duties:

To lead and supervise a team of warehouse assistants to perform day-to-day warehouse operations.
To plan and execute the most effective and efficient procedures of warehouse operations, to meet the company's needs.
To plan and make the best use of all resources available, including manpower, warehouse space and time.
To assist in setting the warehouse policies and procedures. Check and ensure that staff follow the company's policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
To manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of day-to-day warehouse activities and cycle counts.
To keep improving regulation and operation flow within the warehouse department.
To ensure all joining facilities, equipment, tools, machines, and workplace are maintained in a safe, neat and clean environment.
To ensure timely maintenance for all warehouse equipment (including fire extinguishers) and proper keeping of maintenance records.
To ensure accurate recording, quality checks and timely delivery for all joining (PU Belts) orders.
To schedule duty roster for team members.
To ensure smooth operations flow, accurate and on-time shipment.
To ensure all shipments are correctly issued and signed off before being delivered.
To perform quality checks on imports, including discrepancies (excess, short, damages) correct location and labelling for inventory.
To supervise and inspect incoming and outgoing goods.
To ensure all special equipment (i.e. laser pointers, TT etc.) are correctly issued as per order.
To prepare monthly reports.
To ensure all emails are attended to as and when required.
To undertake the other Supervisors duties during their absence.
Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior or management.

Requirements:

Min 5 years of experience in related field
Computer literacy
Fluent in English (Written and Spoken)
Possess good leadership skills
Physical work required
Able to meet deadlines
Possess valid Forklift License
