As a Segment Development Manager - Thailand, you will play a key role in expanding Copeland's strategic products business by identifying high-potential opportunities and engaging customers across the refrigeration ecosystem. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, OEMs, EPCs, and end users to influence specifications, build market demand, and deliver qualified opportunities to the sales team for successful conversion.

You will

Be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales leads, ensuring they are a good fit for Food Retail/Food Service & Light Industrial Refrigeration, specifically for customers in the strategic products space
Create market demand by engaging end users, consultants, EPCs, contractors, OEMs, and system integrators to influence project specifications.
Collaborate with Sales Rep / AE to close new logos; handoff account to sales resources for account management
Use CRM software to track leads, ensure consistent follow-ups, and organize workflows to pass qualified leads to primary account owners for further engagement
Continuously gather intelligence on market trends and competition to provide insights to sales teams and to help further refine value messaging during outreach
Leverage company-created content (e.g., whitepapers, case studies, etc.) to educate prospects on Copeland's products and services

Schedule & Travel

Standard business hours. Travel up to approximately 60% is expected.

Required Experience & Skills

Hold at least a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Seven (7) or more years of experience in B2B, B2C or technical sales roles with responsibility for managing clients in Food Retail, Food Service & Light Industrial Refrigeration segments.
Proven ability to plan and execute territory sales strategies.
Strong relationship‑building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong capability in opportunity management and pipeline management.
Effective communication skills across customer, team, and internal stakeholder groups.
Fluent Thai communication skills (verbal and written) are required. Ability to communicate in English is an advantage. Good listening and computer skills are essential.
Legal authorization to work in Thailand – sponsorship will not be provided.

Preferred Experience & Skills

Exposure to industry-relevant training, certifications, or advanced coursework related to Refrigeration systems, controls, or energy technologies.
Industry or product‑related certifications.
Preferably technical sales experience in Refrigeration, with major reputable OEMs, consultants/contractors, or end-users.
