ABOUT THE JOB

Provide L2/L3 application support for business-critical banking applications and services.
Take ownership of complex production incidents and drive issues through to resolution within agreed SLAs.
Monitor application health and proactively identify potential production issues.
Troubleshoot complex application issues using UNIX/Linux commands, application logs, SQL queries, and monitoring tools.
Perform detailed root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement or coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate incident resolution across business users, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other technical stakeholders.
Support application deployments, releases, maintenance activities, and production changes.
Perform daily operational activities, application health checks, and system monitoring.
Identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement of application stability, support processes, and operational procedures.
Maintain accurate incident records, technical documentation, knowledge bases, and operational runbooks.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior application support team members.
Communicate effectively with local and international stakeholders in English.
Participate in on-call or after-hours support when required.

About You

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in Application Support, Production Support, or a similar technical support role.
Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services is mandatory.
Strong hands-on experience supporting production banking applications in an enterprise environment.
Strong practical knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting, data investigation, and transaction verification.
Strong understanding of application support, incident management, change management, and production environments.
Proven experience handling complex incidents, troubleshooting, escalation, and root-cause analysis.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a structured approach to incident resolution.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to coordinate across business and technical teams.
Service-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure in a business-critical environment.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of production issues.
Professional working proficiency in English.

STRONG ADVANTAGE

Experience with Thai banking applications or payment systems.
Knowledge of PromptPay, BAHTNET, ITMX, or interbank payment systems.
Exposure to E-Withholding Tax, ThaiBMA, SSO, or other regulatory/government integrations.
Experience supporting local payment, clearing, settlement, or transaction-processing applications.
Experience with application monitoring and observability tools.
Experience with incident management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
Previous experience mentoring junior support analysts or acting as a technical lead.
