Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and fixed assets.
• Prepare GST returns, corporate tax schedules, and regulatory reports.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounting team.
• Drive process improvements and accounting system enhancements.
• Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, GST, corporate tax, and Singapore statutory requirements.
• Experience in ERP or accounting software (e.g., Xero, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in trading, import & export, manufacturing, or logistics industries.
• Experience managing multi-entity or multi-currency accounting.
• Familiarity with budgeting, cash flow management, and audit coordination.
