Job Description

Job Purpose

The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all accounting functions to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. The role ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, while driving operational efficiency and strengthening internal controls. In addition, the position provides reliable financial analysis and strategic insights to support executive decision-making and the company's long-term financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), GAAP, and Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) regulations.
  • Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in collaboration with business and department leaders.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Financial Reporting.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members to ensure high performance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Review accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce financial risk.
  • Monitor financial data and prepare management reports, variance analyses, and performance insights for senior management and executives.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely submission of required schedules, documentation, and explanations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and liaise with tax advisors and relevant authorities to resolve tax-related matters.
  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to management on strategic initiatives, investments, cost optimization, and other matters affecting the company's financial performance and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA certification is an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), taxation, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
