Accounts Payable Officer (AP) – Finance (Based in Thailand)

Join our dynamic team as an Account Officer, specializing in accounts payable within our organization. The role involves ensuring the integrity and accuracy of accounting data for our Logistics business. As an Account Officer, you will be responsible for processing invoices to guarantee the timely and accurate payment of creditors accounts, following DP World policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in day-to-day finance transactions and data entry into system
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Process and verify payments/invoices and follow up on discrepancies with vendors and customers
• Book-keeping, accounts reconciliation and reporting any discrepancies
• Attend and provide support in administrative duties for the Finance team
• Assist in checking compliance with internal procedures and controls
• Handling queries related to accounts payable
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma, ACCA or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting & finance;
• Strong understanding of accounting principles;
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency;
• Advanced knowledge on MS Excel
• Hands-on experience in cloud accounting systems such as Oracle would be an advantage
