Job Description

Role Summary

As a Admissions Counselor, you will be the first touchpoint between upGrad and our prospective learners, playing a vital role in guiding them through their education journey. You will connect with potential customers via phone calls, introduce tailored learning solutions, and convert interest into enrollment.

Supporting the Thailand market, you will engage with prospective learners, build strong relationships, and deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the enrollment journey. Beyond driving sales and achieving targets, you will help grow upGrad's learner community while representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Roles & Responsibilities

L2C & Customer Engagement

  • Engage directly with prospective learners through outbound calls, building trust and interest from the very first interaction.
  • Present tailored education solutions clearly and persuasively, highlighting the value and benefits that match customer needs.
  • Handle inquiries and objections with professionalism, turning concerns into opportunities for conversion.
  • Drive participation in key activities such as webinars, trial classes, and info sessions to nurture stronger engagement.
  • Contribute to impactful telesales campaigns, playing a vital role in converting leads into enrolled learners and expanding upGrad's community.

Sales Conversion & Target Achievement

  • Convert leads into customers through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs including call volume, conversion rates, and revenue targets.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Report daily, weekly, and monthly results: number of calls made, leads generated, and deals closed.
  • Provide feedback from customer interactions to improve sales scripts and strategies.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in tele sales or sales support roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Previous experience in the education or ed-tech industry is a plus.

Employment Type: Full-time.

Working Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM (Monday – Friday)
